Jimmie Fox STONY POINT Jimmie "Rouge" Fox, 77, of 64 Hager Church Loop, Stony Point, passed away Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at Gordon Hospice House, after an extended illness. He was born Dec. 15, 1935, in Alexander County to the late Jessie Monroe Fox and Suma Bebber Fox. He was a retired house painter and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, J.C. Fox and Donald Ingram; and one sister, Martha Neal Fox Robinette. He is survived by two sons, Jimmie Lee Fox, of Stony Point and James Leonard Fox (wife, Adriana), of Statesville; two brothers, Harold and Gary Fox, both of Stony Point; three grandchildren, Preston Fox, Chris Fox and Makayla Fox. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Mitchell King will officiate. Burial will follow in the Stony Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening (Wednesday, Oct. 23), from 6 to 8 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.
