Charles William "Bill" Bobbitt, 61, of Galax, died Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax.
He was born Feb. 17, 1946, in Carroll County to John Morton and Clara Roberts Bobbitt.
Survivors include his mother, Clara Roberts Bobbitt of Galax; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Horace Leonard Jr. of Fries and Judy and Franklin Liddle of Galax; several nieces and nephews; three children, Karen, Rhonda and Steven; and two grandchildren.
A funeral was held Sunday at Woodlawn Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in the Monta Vista Memory Gardens. The Rev. Harvey Carico officiated.
Military rite were conducted by the Hillsville VFW Post 1115.
