Albert Luther "Sonny" Rigg age 65 a resident of Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Mt. Sterling, formerly of Perry, Illinois passed away at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 31, 2004 at the nursing home

Born August 28, 1938 in Kellerville, Illinois a son of David Otis and Violet Marie Clapp Rigg, Sonny married Sandra Shannon on March 25, 1962; she preceded him in death June, 1981.

Mr. Rigg worked for Electric Wheel in Quincy, Stephenson Grain in Timewell, Illinois and was also engaged in farming

He attended Buckhorn, Timewell and Mt. Sterling schools.
Mr. Rigg was an avid fisherman and always enjoyed hunting mushrooms and woodworking

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers James Otis Rigg in infancy and Melvin Rigg and 2 sisters Edith M. "Edie" Jobe and Alice Henninger

Cremation rites will be accorded and graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2004 in Mound Cemetery, Timewell, Illinois;

Family will meet friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Friday at the Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling

Memorials are suggested to the family.
