Louis Barnett, 90 of Pensacola, FL passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. He was born in Baldwin County, Alabama to Vernie D. and Zadie Barnett. Vernon was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a chemical operator for over 45 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Vernon is preceded in death by his parents and many sisters and brothers. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Hidegard Sachse Barnett; daughters, Marian Bencke (Peter) and Jeanne Hunt (Doug); sons, Herbie Barnett (Cindy) and Victor Barnett; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Homestead Village, Waterford at Creekside and Covenant Hospice Care. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish to donate: Covenant Care of Pensacola (5041 North 12th Ave. Pensacola, FL 32504) or Trinity Lutheran Church (2385 County Road 297-A Cantonment, FL 32533) Due to Covid 19 Pandemic, we will be observing the CDC guidelines and a private graveside service will be held.
