WHITE John Vernon December 3, 1925 - May 2, 2009 Vern passed away suddenly at home with loved ones by his side. Born in Sedgwick, Alta. Worked at GMAC, Sears, BCAA and Great Pacific. Vern was an avid curler and an active barbershop singer. Vern will be lovingly remembered by his wife Barbara (nee Dill), his daughter Sheryl Beach, son Brad (Marcia), grandchildren; Rebecca, Coady, Evan, Jeremy. Survived by sister Daphne (George). We will gather to remember Vern's life on Saturday, May 23 at 10:00 am at Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver. Donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.

John Vernon White is the eldest son of Julian Alexander White (1893-1962) and Leila Urwin. John was in the Navy during WW 2. He then graduated in Commerce from the University of Alberta. He married Barbara Dill on 22 August 1953 in West Vancouver.
John had a sister, Daphne Mavis White (1924-1915) who married George Trapp; and a brother, Jeffrey White, who worked for Alberta Government Telephones.
