Born January 23, 1914, in Cahaba, Ala. She departed this life January 17, 2002 at her home in Bishop, WV. She was the daughter of the late Julia Ann Thomas and Landus Clifton. She accepted Christ at an early age and united with the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Selma, Ala. She remained faithful in church work there until she moved to Hartwell, WV in 1944 where she united with the First Baptist Missionary Church in Hartwell. She was a faithful church worker and above all she truly loved the Lord. She was the President of The Mission Society, President of the Pastor Aide Society, she was Matron of the Junior Choir, lead Alto in the senior Choir. She found great joy from singing in the senior choir.

Her other affilliations included The Home and Gardening Club, the Sewing Circle and the Community Christmas Club. She was willing to serve where ever needed in her church. She gave of her time and finances.

Because of failing health, she moved to Bishop, WV in 1997 and resided with her daughter Joyce Ann (Frazier) Dykes, until her death.

She was united in marriage to Andrew Frazier Sr. in 1945 and remained married to him until his death in 1981. Her husband, mother, father, one sister and one brother preceded her in death. She was the oldest surviving member of her immediate family.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter Joyce Ann (Frazier) Dykes (Ronald) of Bishop, WV, three grandsons. Aundrea (Toney) Frazier of Bluefield, WV; whom she raised, Ronald (Vanessa) Dykes Jr. of Tazewell, Va and Cory Andrew Dykes of Baltimore, MD. three great-grandchildren, one niece Essie Gardner of Birmingham. Ala, one nephew Curtis Garner Jr. of Tuskegee, Ala; two great- nieces and one great nephew; a special cousin Annie P. Hatcher of Cleveland, OH and a host of other relatives and friends.
She will be remembered best for singing Spiritual Hymnals especially (A CHARGE TO KEEP I HAVE, OLE SHIP OF ZION, WHAT ARE THEY DOING IN HEAVEN TODAY, SOMEBODY'S KNOCKING AT YOUR DOOR, and COME INTO MY HEART LORD JESUS.)
