Max K. Ray, of Millington, passed away on April 19, 2020. He was 88 years of age and a retired US Navy Chief. Mr. Ray was a member of the American Legion and Quito Methodist Church. He leaves his wife, Lula "Mae" Ray; daughters, Pamela Gibbs, of Lakeland, Lisa Holliday, of Atoka; son, Brian Sproles, of Millington; sister, Bonnie Kaiser, of Florida; brothers, Billy Ray, of Indiana, Kenny Ray, of Oregon, and Jimmy Ray, also of Indiana; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Ray was predeceased by a sister, Beverly Benson. Private services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel. Interment will be in Helen Crigger Cemetery.
