Born December 19, 1902, at Mount Union, she was a daughter of Frank S. and Minetta B. (Himes) Longacre. Her husband, Charles Brandon "Ike" Cunningham, whom she married on May 15, 1922, preceded her in death.
One son and three daughters survive -- Mrs. Blase (Phyllis) Cindric of Somerset, Mrs. John (Joann) Remek of Mount Union, Ms. Kay Rosenberry of Mount Union, and Fredric Merrill Cunningham of Yardley. There are six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Cunningham was preceded in death by an infant son.
One sister, M. Annabel Longacre of Mount Union, also survives. Two brothers and two sisters preceded in death.
A member of the First United Methodist Church, Mount Union, Mrs. Cunningham was a member of the Longacre Sunday School Class and a past superintendent of the Junior Department in the church for a number of years. She was also a past member of the United Methodist Women and held a number of offices in that association. Mrs. Cunningham was a member of the Mount Union High School class of 1920.
