A note from the family:
Papa, words cannot begin to describe how much you meant to me. For those who don't know, my grandfather was the kind of person who didn't believe in strangers, only friends. He was always seeking ways to improve the lives of others, he would loan people items knowing he would probably never get it back, but that others were in more need than he was. He loved life and when he retired, took to auctioning, Craigslist, and Facebook marketplace, not to make a profit, but to help others and meet new people. The length of time he knew someone didn't matter, if they were in need and he could assist, he would no matter what. He taught me that "no matter how bad you might think you've got it, there's always someone out there who has it worse" and that you should never pass up on the opportunity to say Hi. Thank you Papa, for everything, I'm sorry I didn't say it sooner, but I'm immensely lucky to have you as my guardian angel and am glad you are with God and no longer suffering.
