GROVELAND RESIDENT DIES HERE George Wilson 68, of Groveland, native of Mississippi, died in Sonora early Mondy morning. He had been in ill health over a long period and had come to Sonora for treatment. He was a carpenter by trade and followed that vocation when his health would permit. He had been a resident of the county for about a year, living with his son, Earl Wilson. Another son, Robert Wilson is a resident of Welmar, Placer County. His funeral was held from the Terzich and Bigelow Funeral Home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. H. E. Buckner officiating. Interment was in Mt. Shadow Cemetery.∼He was the husband to Martha Susan Wilson(Beauchamp)& the father to Georgia Frances Wilson(Templin)my mother b:June 15,1914,she was 1 of 8 children. I believed he was a sheriff up there after leaving the town of Pomona,California.
