Sherod "Shird" Tillman Cozart was married twice. His 1st marriage on 4 April 1879 was to Sallie Elizabeth "Betty" DePriest/Depreast (born 28 August 1860 died 12 July 1887)
His 2nd marriage on 13 September 1888 was to Martha Louise Russell (born 30 August 1871 died 14 July 1943). Both marriages took place in Lonoke County, AR.
Several headstones in this cemetery have the incorrect spelling for the surname Cozart.∼Headstone reads Cazort but most others records I have found for Shird and his family the surname is Cozart.

I have the Priest-Cozart and Harris-Wilson Family Histories compiled by Mabel Marie Priest-Callaway in July 1962 which includes Shird Cozart and his descendants.
Mabel Marie Priest great grandparents are Solomon Priest and Leathey Morgan who came to Arkansas from Carroll County before the Civil War.

Mabel Marie Priest is a grandniece of Shird Tillman Cozart.
She is a 1st cousin once removed of Alantas Augustas "Gus" Priest who was the second husband of my great grandmother, Amanda Edmonson.
