Dorothy was born March 10, 1920 in Terryville, daughter of the late John and Helen (Nowicki) Benbemski. She was a member of the Thomaston Seniors, the Polish National Association “PNA” and was a long time active parishioner of St. Thomas Church.
Dorothy is survived by three daughters, Joan Carlson and her husband Paul of Bantam; Barbara Ball of Bantam and Dorothy Lane of Chicopee, MA; one sister, Frances Touart of FL; four grandchildren Luke, Diana, Joseph and Kimberly and eight great-grandchildren.
A private committal service will be held in the St. Thomas Cemetery. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on a date and time to be announced.
