Lieutenant (LT), United States Navy (USN), World War Two and Korean War veteran. United States Naval Academy (USNA) graduate Class of 1946. While serving as a USNA instructor he perished in the crash of a Naval Aircraft Factory N3N seaplane trainer he was piloting on a midshipman aviation orientation flight - his midshipman passenger survived the crash.
