Viewing will be Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Bishop Funeral Service.
Due to public health and safety a private service will be held. Burial will be at Tannehill Cemetery.
Linda was born to James and Margie (Pace) Hendrix on January 10, 1950 in McAlester. She grew up in McAlester and attended McAlester Schools.
She married Tommy G. “Tom” Buckner on November 16, 1974 in McAlester.
Linda worked as a hairdresser and various other jobs, but was primarily a homemaker. Linda enjoyed gardening.
Linda was preceded in death by her father: James Hendrix, and her husband: Tom Buckner in 2011.
She is survived by her mother: Margie Hendrix of McAlester; sons: Kelvin Key and wife, Blanca of Holdenville, Klint Buckner of McAlester; daughters: Kimberly Howell of Oklahoma City, Kelli Key of Stuart; grandchildren: Kaleigh Key and fiancé, Jason Cruz, Chelsea Rink and husband, Tim, Erika Key, Tyler Carter, Keyton Howell, McKenzie Carter, Skylar Trammell, Cody Duff; great-grandchildren; Jenna Rink, Jett Smith, Hanna Carter, Finley Carter, Greyson Trammell; brothers: Tommy Hendrix and wife, Pam, Rodney Hendrix, Robert Hendrix and wife, Libby; sisters: Carolyn Huff and husband, Tom, Brenda Wilson and husband, Donnie, Sharol Martin; numerous nephews and nieces including special caring niece: Lesley Huff, and other family members and friends.
