In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Young on August 1, 1986. She was the last living of her siblings.
She loved to crochet and made quilts for all of her family and friends. She was known as "Gram" to many of her friends.
Janet is survived by her six children, Roy (Debbie) Young, Janette (Roy) Poling, Patti Swisher, Loreli (Jim) Hart, Charles (Bud) Young and companion Judy, and Albert (Skip) Young, all of Grafton, WV, twenty three grandchildren, twenty five great-grand-children and one on the way, and one great-great granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
In light of the COVID-19, and keeping with her wishes Janet will be cremated and her ashes will be buried with her husband at the WV. National Cemetery in Pruntytown at a later date.
