The family held a private graveside service in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery near Colmesneil.
Sandra was born March 2, 1945 in Gurdon, Arkansas. She was a longtime resident of Tyler County and was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Colmesneil. She loved her family and enjoyed traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 32 years, Dennis A. Johnston; daughter-in-law, Teresa Johnston; brothers, Don Francis Senn and Jimmy Senn.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Johnston of Woodville; daughter, Rhonda Johnston of Rockland; sister, Marilyn Wright & husband, Carl of Springfield, MO; grandchildren, Keith Calmese, David Calmese, Megan Waller, Christen Stout, Kevin Stanford, Samantha Johnston and Dakota Franklin; and 8 great grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
