Ronald E. Hoffman, Sr. 88, of Evansville, IN, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2020, at the Heritage Center. He was born on November 5, 1931, in Evansville, IN, to the late Donald and Agnes (Sartore) Hoffman.

Ronald was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. He retired from Whirlpool, after 35 years of service. Ronald was an Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He returned to Korea to the 38th parallel on the 50th anniversary of the signing of the treaty. Ronald served in the National Guard for 26-1/2 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalin J. Hoffman and daughter, Mary Catherine (Hoffman) Schneider.

Ronald is survived by his son, Ronald “Ron” Hoffman, Jr. (Cathy) of Evansville and Dr. James Steven Hoffman (Sherry) of Carmel, IN; grandchildren, Dr. Jason Hoffman (Shelley), Trent Hoffman (Kaleigh), Tyler Hoffman, Katherine Rose “Kate” Schneider; Kristin Schneider, Kyle Ashley Fuchs (Dr. Zach) and Dr. Ronald Hoffman III (Dr. Laura Ken); five great grandchildren, Duncan and Griffin Hoffman, Eli and Emery Fuchs, and Genevieve Rose Schneider.
