Funeral Service for Harry James Cooper, 68 of Spiro, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 pm on April 21, 2020 at Lighthouse at the Crossroad Church in Spiro, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Oklahoma.
He was born on December 20, 1951 in Alvarado, Arkansas to James Cooper and Lucille (Harrison) Cooper and passed away on April 16, 2020 in Spiro, Oklahoma. He was married to Violet Marie Cooper on December 1, 1971 in Wagoner, Oklahoma. Harry James was preceded in death by his dad and mom; James and Lucille Cooper; and sister, Emma Lou Cooper. He enjoyed going to church, hunting, and fishing. He loved being with his family and loved his granddaughter, Jersey greatly.
Survivors are his wife, Violet Cooper; daughters, Alfie Lou Lee and husband Sam, Johnnie Cooper, Cherry Boswell and husband Tony; sons, Harry James Cooper, Jr., Robert Cooper and wife Jessica; sisters, Emma Lou Cooper and husband Jackie, Carolyn Sue Cooper and husband Foxy, Caroline Cooper and husband Freddie; brother, Johnny Cooper and wife Jeannie; grandchildren, Augie Lee, Odie Lee, Sam Lee, Jr., Tydas Boswell, Jersey Boswell, Gage Boswell, Jessie Boswell, Jasper Boswell, Journey Boswell, Caleb Cooper, Hayden Cooper, Fancey Cooper, Harry Cooper, Harry James Cooper III; great grandchildren, Axl Lee, Heaven Lee, Cynthia Lee, Triston Cooper, McKenzie Cooper, Skye Cooper, Brooklynne Cooper, Betty Cooper, Tony Cooper; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.
