Mr. Caudle served his country in the United States Air Force, where he met and married the love of his life, Marry Ann Owens. They were married for 63 years. He worked in the space industry where he helped put a man on the moon and helped to build the James Webb Telescope, which will replace the Hubble Telescope.
He served his community as a faithful member of the Lions Club for 27 years. He served as President and District Governor. He was a WSCC outstanding alumnus, where he was a lifetime member. He was a faithful and long-time member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and was active in the Alabama Emmaus Community.
Mr. Caudle was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Coker and Etta Ann Caudle; brothers: Earl, Ed, Charles, Tom and Noble; sisters: Caroline, Virginia and Betty.
Mr. Caudle is survived by his wife of 63 years, Children and their familes, some special family members and his beloved dog, Sadie Girl.
There was a private graveside service, however the family is planning a celebration of Mr. Caudle’s life at a later time for the family and friends.
