He was born February 12, 1952 in Annville, the loving son of Helen J. Colston and the late Phillip B. Bennett, Sr.
By trade, Phillip was a skilled Carpenter and Bridge Worker.
His religion was very important to him and he practiced his strong faith by praying and praising Yah daily and giving all glory to His name.
Phillip had a great love for music at a very early age and had wonderful talent as an outstanding vocalist and entertainer. He was an accomplished performer for many years with bands such as: Park Bench, Humble Gathering, Hurricane Alley, Bush, Afterglow, and with The Stevenson Twins.
More recently his passion for music, along with Yah's guidance in his life journey, he was able to achieve the dream of creating his own recording studio.
Phillip will be deeply missed by the many who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his sons: Phillip Bennett III, Hezahkiah Intrieri, Andonia Bennett, and Jordan Bennett (whom resided with his father); his six grandchildren; his four great-grandchildren; his mother; his sister: Doreen Sawyers; his brothers: Glenn Bennett (Teresa), and Troy Bennett (Michelle); his special Cindy; his nieces and nephews; and, his friends.
There was a private Grave-side Service at East Middletown Cemetery located in Londonderry Township on Route 230 just East of Middletown and next to the Starlight Motel.
