Melinda Robinson, 68, of the Sand Valley Community, passed away on April 18, 2020. She was a former member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Oneonta, Alabama and was a current member of World Changers Church International College Park in Georgia. She was a graduate of Oneonta High School Class of 1969 and Alabama A&M University Class of 1972. Preceding her in death were her parents Frank Bo and Mollie Murray Robinson; sister Stephenie Robinson Jefferson and nephew Xavier Tyrone Newby, Jr.. Survivors include her sisters Frankie Newby (Xavier) and Dianah Harris (Tommie); nephews Jason Harris, Jeremy Harris and Aaron Jefferson; niece Stephenie A. Jefferson. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date and time. Burial will be in Old Liberty Cemetery
