Funeral Will be Held at Residence in Harrison Street on Wednesday
Dudley Koons, aged 54 years, died suddenly at the family residence in Harrison street at 10:30 o'clock Monday evening. Death was due to diabetes, from which the deceased had suffered for several years. He went to work Monday, but he became ill and was forced to stop in the afternoon.
Mr. Koons was a plasterer and had made his home in the city for forty years. Besides his widow, he is survived by two sons, Grant and George. A sister, Mrs. Nellie Baker, of Cleveland, and a half brother, William Koons, of this city, also survive. The funeral will be held from the late residence at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, the Rev. W. H. Williams, pastor of the Rescue Mission, will officiate. Interment will be made in the Massillon cemetery.
