U. S. BRATTON - Services for Mr. Bratton, 79, of 4612 Oregon will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bird & Mott Funeral Home, 2668 W. Grand Blvd. Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Bratton died Thursday in Harper Hospital after a long illness. He was senior partner in the Bratton & Bratton law firm.
Born in Fercy County, Ark., he served two terms in the Arkansas State Legislature and was postmaster at Little Rock, Ark. Mr. Bratton came to Detroit 27 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Mattie; four sons, Guy G., Ulysses S., Jr., Bryant and Ocier S.; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
