Mrs. Christy Lynn Garrison Allen, age: 65, died on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at home after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Survivors: Husband: David Dewayne Allen of Meehan
Son: Billy Blackwell (Candi) of Decatur
Grandchildren: Dylan and Bailey Blackwell of Decatur
2 Brothers: Phillip Garrison of Decatur
William Garrison of Decatur
2 Sisters: Leila Andersen (Lars) of Cornith, NY
Teresa Swanner (Lamar) of Little Rock
Mother in Law: Gloria Allen of Meehan
Sister in law: Sandra Johnson (Bill) of Chunky
She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, 1 aunt, 1 uncle, cousins and many many friends
Mrs. Christy is preceded in death by her parents: Margaret Bourgeois and Dewey Garrison; sister: Phyllis Morris; nephew: Tim Graham.
Mrs. Christy was one of the brightest, most loving souls you could ever meet. Her smile was contagious. She loved her husband Dewayne with all her heart. She cherished all their travels and many adventures together. Her son Billy was her heart. She loved him and his family beyond measure. She was so proud of him. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved her huge family. She always called them “so precious” to her. She always had so many wonderful stories to tell about her brothers and sisters and their time growing up. She believed in the Lord and knew where she was going when her time was over here on Earth. She loved her Lord. Her Flowers were something she took so much pride in. There is no doubt that Heaven will have one more beautiful flower garden now.
