Mrs. Heinl was a lifetime member of St. John’s Evangelical Church in Birmingham and was a member of the Mary and Martha Society and taught children’s Sunday School classes. She retired from United Mine Workers of America where she had worked as an Administrative Assistant. She enjoyed traveling with the senior adults.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James H. Heinl, Sr.; sisters: Marie Freeman, Bertie Perdue and Mary Perdue; and brothers: John B. Gray, Jr. and Donald O. Gray.
She is survived by her children, brother, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her family will say their final goodbyes at a private graveside service April 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cullman City Cemetery.
