Sue Whitfield Nash, age 85 of White Bluff passed away on Saturday April 18, 2020. She was born on December 1, 1934 to the late Walter and Elizabeth Forriest Whitfield in White Bluff, TN. She was married to the late Alford Buel Nash for over 40 years before his passing in 1993.

Mrs. Nash worked for over 22 years as a Kitchen Assistant in the Dickson County School System. She was one of the last three members attending the United Brethren Church before becoming a longtime member of the Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy. Sue was a devoted mother and the rock of her family to which she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Nash was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Whitfield; and her sisters, Lucille Culwell and Alene Edmonds.

Survivors include her daughters, Carole Hathaway (Russell) of Dickson and Jill Williams (Jeff) of Nashville; her sons, Terry Nash (Gina) of Dickson and Jimmy Nash of White Bluff; her grandchildren, Ethan Nash (Kristen), Earl Nash (Julie), Jennifer Christian, and Will Williams; her great-grandchildren, Jack Christian, Benjamin, Camden, Colt, and Luke Nash; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a private funeral service held on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Riley officiating. To view a live stream of the service, click here. Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery.
