BORDEN, Alice Victoria, of Vancouver, B.C., passed away at home on February 2, 1971, in her 63rd year. Survived by her loving husband, Charles E. Borden; 2 sons, John Harvey and his wife Edna, of Burnaby, B.C., and Richard Keith of Stanford, Calif., U.S.A.; 2 grandchildren, Patrick Carl and Ian Maceachern; her brother, Bernard E. Witkin, of Berkeley, Calif., U.S.A. Deceased was an assistant Professor of the faculty of Education, UBC. Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 6, at 1:30 p.m., in the Unitarian Church of Vancouver, 49th Avenue and Oak Street, Rev. Philip Hewett officiating. Cremation. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations to the Child Study Centre, UBC would be appreciated. Arrangements through the Memorial Society of B.C. and First Memorial Services Limited.
