WEST UNION, W. Va. Patricia A. Wescott, 68, of West Union, West Va., passed peacefully at her home on Friday, December 14, 2012 after a long illness. Formerly of East Berne, she was born in Schoharie, N.Y. and was the daughter of the late Grant and Minnie Dearstyne. Pat was an avid hunter and animal lover, and worked for a time with ENCON. She loved the outdoors and everything that went with that Pat also worked as a nurse's aide at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home. Her friends and family would say "no one who visited Pat ever went away hungry." Relatives and friends will be contacted when Memorial Services are planned.
