BICKNELL - Marshall Arnold (Toad) Frazier, 68, died at 5:50 p.m. Monday at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes. He had been ill one year.
The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m.at the Asbury Chapel United Methodist Church with the Revs. Orien Stevens and R. R. Willfrey officiating. Burial will be in the Asbury Chapel Cemetery and there will be military graveside rites.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Wampler-Shaw Funeral Home, Bicknell, and at the church from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday.
Frazier was born March 14, 1915 in Bicknell to Marshall and Sarah Kathryn Horn Frazier. He married Doris M. Koenig Dec. 5, 1941 at Winona Lake.
He was a coal miner and was retired from the Thunderbird Mine. He was a veteran of World War II with the U.S. Navy and a member of the Asbury Chapel United Methodist Church, the Disabled American Veterans and the Bruceville Rod and Gun Club. He lived three years at Carlsbad, N.M.
He leaves his mother, Mrs. Sarah Frazier of Freelandville; his wife; one son and one daughter, John O. Frazier, Plainfield, and Mrs. John (Brenda) Main of Columbus; five grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Lois Price, Indianapolis.
