Robert Allen Moon, 36, died suddenly Friday night at 10:30 o'clock at his home following a heart attack.
Mr. Moon had been employed by the county for nearly a year operating a caterpillar. He had worked all day of his death, but had complained of feeling bad for several days.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today from the Laughlin Service Chapel, with the Rev. Roy Stone officiating. Interment will be in Moon Cemetery at Owens Cross Roads.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Hazel King Moon; one daughter, Nancy Mae Moon; two sons, Billy Moon and John Moon; two sisters, Mrs. Taylor Warren [Willie] of Huntsville and Mrs. Robert Herrin [Laura] of Meridianville.
Mr. Moon was born in Owens Cross Roads and lived in Madison County all his life.

Robert Allen Moon was preceded in death by his parents, Lula Connally Moon and John N. Moon. They are buried in Moon Cemetery. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Ola Moon Hickman.
