Owings Mills, who died Saturday.
He was born in Baltimore, the son of the late Luther B.
and Ada Slyder Alvey. He was an exterminator
for a Baltimore firm and a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by a sister and three brothers, Melva
Ports, Everett, Robert and Berlin Alvey, all of
Baltimore area.
Services were held from the Eckhardt Funeral
Chapel, Owings Mills, with
the Rev. Nelson Veis officiating. Burial will be in
Druid Ridge Cemtery.
