Born in Tuskegee, Alabama, he was the son of the late James W. and Jannie (Cook) Noble. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Matt was a facilities manager at Polaroid for many years until his retirement.
He was an extremely active and mild-mannered man who loved his family, was always willing to lend a helping hand to everyone he met and who’s heart was always devoted to the ways of the Lord.
Matthew was the husband of the late Eunice Elizabeth (Macedo) Noble; beloved father of Claudia Noble-Cotten of Halifax, Ernest Noble of New Hampshire and the late Cynthia and Michael Noble; a dear grandfather of 6; and a great-grandfather of 3.
His hobbies included gardening, listening to jazz music, cooking and staying physically fit. A private family burial was held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
