Daniel Danavich, age 51, of Gary, passed away Thursday, Feb. 23, 1978, at the home of his son. Survivors: Catherine (Jack) Grubbs of Tennessee, Mary Jane (Thomas) Straubel of Griffith, Betty Lou (Larry) Burk of Gary; two sons, Alex Frank (Kathy) Thomas and Fred (Pam) Lowden, both of Griffith; one brother. John (Judy) Dana of Chicago; two aunts and two cousins. Funeral services are incomplete. Burial, Ross Cemetery, Merriville. Visitation will be held Saturday 7 to 10 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. at the Fagen Miller Funeral Gardens, 242 N. Griffith Blvd., Griffith. Mr. Danavich worked for the Chicago Burlington Northern for 30 years prior to his employment at the Marshall Feild Company in Chicago, and he was a Veteran of World War II.
