Peggy Spradlin George, 89, of Nicholasville, KY, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 17th. Peggy was the widow of Douglas George, the daughter of the late Earl Spradlin & the late Ada Coburn Spradlin Goble. She was a member of Winchester First Church of God and SLF Church of God, Nicholasville.
She is survived by daughter Carolyn (Carl) Allen, Daughter-in-law Kathy George, Daughter-in-law Linda George (Mark McDonough); Grandchildren, Michelle (James) Hinman, Josh George, Ben(Kim) George, Becky George, Meagan(David) Sloan, Patrick(Kayla) George; A very special niece, Lisa (John) Hinman; Nine great-grandchildren and a very special great-niece; Three sisters, Margie Kendrick, Judy(John) Price, Sharon(Mike) Helton; 2 sisters-in-law, Carolyn and Donna Goble; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Mike and David George; two grandsons, Brian George and Neal Floyd; one sister, Doris(James) Lafferty, & two brothers Gary and Jimmy Goble.
Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery following a private graveside service.
