Mary Belle first married Frank H Webb in May 1884 in Cherokee County, but the marriage did not last as she filed for divorce in 1893, and he remarried in 1893. They had a daughter together, Ethelyn.
Mrs. Belle Webb then married Frank H Albertson in Jackson County, Missouri on 20 Jan 1906, and was Mary Belle Albertson at the time of her death in California.
The 1920 census of Kansas City, Missouri, found Belle Albertson, "widowed", her daughter Ethelyn [Brockway at the time] single, Ellis R Powers [soon to be husband of Ethelyn] a boarder, and Mamie B Long, Belle’s niece, a widowed housekeeper, in the same household.
Mary Belle lived with her daughter Ethelyn and her husband Ellis in 1930 and 1940 in San Antonio, Los Angeles, California.
Belle's death certificate was informed by her daughter Ethelyn Powers, Mrs. Ellis R Powers. (Ethelyn was married more than once. The first was to Merl McGarvey in 1909, who died in 1914. In 1915 she was married to Louis Brockway. The marriage did not last, and she married Ellis R Powers.)
As to her year of birth, Mary Belle was two years older than her brother Dexter, so one or the other has an inaccurate year of birth.
