Obituary of Charlene Kay White
Charlene Kay White – A Celebration of Life service for Charlene Kay White, 69, of Gaston, will be held at a later date. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Charlene White passed away April 13, 2020. Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Gerald Feeley and Penelope Dorothy Massiongale. In 1970, she graduated from W.T. Sampson High School in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Charlene then pursued a career in communications with the U.S. Navy, and after 13 years of service, was honorably discharged. She moved to Florida and South Carolina several times enjoying country music, dancing, and friends. Her love, passion, and world was her son and her "fur babies".

Charlene is survived by her son, Barry Scot White (fiancée, Kelly Brockstedt) of Gaston; an aunt, Leona Pappas, and several cousins, Linda Jeffcoat, Donna Andrews, Chuck and Joe Pappas. Charlene was predeceased by her parents.

The family would like to thank the staffs of Davita Dialysis of Gaston, Lexington Medical Center and W.J. B. Dorn Veteran’s Medical Center for their loving and attentive care. The family would also like to thank the unwavering love and support they received from friends and extended family.
