Carolyn Morgan, 78, of Connersville passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at Reid Health, Richmond.
The youngest of ten children, Carolyn was born on June 23, 1941, in Hyden, Kentucky.
On October 17, 1959, Carolyn married Ronald Morgan in Hyden, Kentucky, and several years later they moved to Connersville for residence. Mr. Morgan passed away on September 2, 1976.
Carolyn’s passion of caring for people led her to a career in home health for over 20 years. Earlier, she was employed at D and J Van Works as a custom upholsterer. She was employed in the deli at Marsh Supermarkets, and previously worked at Freudenberg Technology.
In her leisure time, Carolyn enjoyed gardening, collecting photos. A loving mother and grandmother, Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include four children, Rhonda Ash of Connersville, Tammy Brown of London, Kentucky, Theresa (Tim) Carroll of Shelbyville, and Derrick Morgan of Bozeman, Montana; four grandchildren, Ronnie Ash, Addam Morgan, MacKenzie Brown, Tanner Brown; four great-grandchildren, Austin Ash, Brooke Hymer, Kailynne Kassens, Story Ash; a brother, Kenneth Morgan of Connersville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her husband of over 16 years, Ronald Morgan, Carolyn was preceded in death by a daughter, Kendra Morgan; eight siblings, Dolphie Farler, Viola Moffett, Dorothy Cornett, Willy Morgan, Toby Morgan, Delmer Morgan, Ed Morgan, and Alice Morgan.
Private funeral services will be conducted at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Burial in Dale Cemetery will follow at a later date.
