He married Janis Griffin on July 26, 1948.
Mr. Stone enlisted in the Army during the Korean War and was a staff sergeant with the flame- throwing and tank division.
Surviving besides his wife are a son and his wife; three daughters and a son-in-law; a brother and 10 grandchildren.
Two brothers, Chester and Romaine Stone, predeceased him.
