Eddie D. Howard, 62, Pierceton, Indiana passed at 7:35 a.m. on April 17, 2020 at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City, Indiana. Born August 6, 1957 in New London, Ohio, Eddie was one of seven children born to Rosco and Nora (Conley) Howard.

Eddie made a living doing what he loved. He was a lifelong logger and always worked along with his brothers in the family business, Howard Logging. The woods weren’t just a place to Eddie; they were a source of solitude and a calming second home. He relished his time in nature and enjoyed cutting and splitting wood. Eddie also loved spending time with his daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the rest of his family. He often attended Free United Baptist Church, Sidney, Indiana.

The loving memory of Eddie D. Howard will be forever cherished by his father, Rosco Howard, Pierceton, Indiana; two daughters, Stacie (Bill) Patrick, Larwill, Indiana and April Howard, Leesburg, Indiana; two brothers, Wayne Howard and Ralph Howard, both of Pierceton, Indiana; two sisters, Lena (Roger) West and Pauline (James) Hoover, both of Pierceton, Indiana; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Eddie was preceded in death by his mother, Nora Howard; and two brothers, Timothy and Randall Howard.
