Larry K. Kieso, age 81, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020, at his residence. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown. Pastor Lamar Whittemore will officiate. Music will be provided by Judy Everson as soloist accompanied by A.J. Sherrill as organist. The family is requested to meet at the chapel by 10:00 a.m. for a prayer service. The service will be Live-Streamed on our website.

Visitation will be at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel prior to funeral services on Wednesday.

Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Watertown, SD. Pallbearers will be Mike Kieso, Rick Kieso, Danny Kieso, Jim Olverson, Russ Porath and Adam Lauseng.

Larry was born on July 19, 1939, in Watertown, SD, to Edward and Bernice (Wait) Kieso. He attended school in Watertown and graduated with the class of 1957. On January 28, 1961, Larry married Betty Tumbleson in Watertown. The couple made their home in Watertown where Larry worked for many years as a meat cutter at OP Skaggs. He later worked in maintenance at Great Western Bank, Watertown Jr. High and Reliabank.

He was a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Watertown. He enjoyed hunting. He took immaculate care of everything including his automobiles and took great pride in his yard. He always found things to do to keep himself busy. His dog, Pepper, was an important part of his life. Larry enjoyed time spent with his family.

Larry is survived by his children, Debbie (Brad) Lauseng of Watertown, SD, and Bob Kieso of Aberdeen, SD; his brother, Dean (Doreen) Kieso of Watertown, SD; his grandson, Adam Lauseng of Watertown, SD; and his great-grandson, Jackson Gebhart.

Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; his parents, Edward and Bernice; and his brothers: Jack, Jim, Curt and Randy.

Randy Morris Kieso, age 60, of Huron, died Sunday, January 31, 2016, at his residence as the result of a heart attack. A Celebration of Life was held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 5th at the First United Methodist Church.
Randy Morris Kieso was born on December 30, 1955 at Watertown to Edward and Bernice (Waite) Kieso. He grew up at Watertown and graduated from Hayti High School. He then started his career as a truck driver. He drove for many different companies. He moved to Huron from Sioux Falls, in the summer of 2015 and was driving for Dakota Provisions at the time of his death.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, James and Curt.
Randy is survived by four children; Kenny (Kylie) Kieso and their two children, Ethan and Haydon of Wichita, Kansas, Tina (David) Clark and their four children, Destin, Autumn, Baylee and Landon of Wichita, Kansas, James (Tiffany) Kieso and their eight children, Dakota, Keara, Elijah, Reese, Colten, Cannon, Jordan and Ashlynn of Valley Center, Kansas, and Brandon Kieso of Garretson, South Dakota; three brothers, Jack (Nancy) Kieso of Huron, Larry (Betty) Kieso of Watertown, and Dean (Doreen) Kieso of Watertown; and several nieces and nephews.
