Mary Susan Waters, age 78, of Whitley City, Kentucky passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.
Private funeral services were held Saturday, April 18, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Kidd Cemetery with Bro. Eddie King officiating.
Susan was born April 3, 1942 in Whitley City to Walter Earls and Dora Allen Earls. She was a member of the First Hickory Grove Baptist Church and had worked as a sewing machine operator making tents and at McCreary County Preschool before her retirement. Susan loved travelling, camping, and spending time with her family.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her first husband, Howard Kidd, brothers, Ernest Earls, Arnold Earls, and an infant brother, and sisters, Mabel Jones, Norma Jean Perry, Sammie Perkins, and an infant sister.
Survivor include her husband, Ronnie Waters, whom she married February 14, 1986, children, Tony Kidd and his wife, Patty, of Revelo, Andy Kidd and his wife, Renee, of Strunk, Chad Kidd and his wife, Jennifer, of Whitley City, Donna Davis of Whitley City, Rhonda Watters and her husband, Darrell, of Strunk, and Tracie Wright and her husband, Ron, of Somerset, a brother, Joe Earls of Freemont, Texas, a sister, Wilma Duncan of Macon, Georgia, grandchildren, Cole Kidd, Evan Kidd, Douglas Meadows, Dustin Meadows, Shae Worley, Kisha Kidd, Christin Neal, Chaslin Cordell, Charity Clark, Chad Lee Kidd, Lucas Watters, Lindsey Watters, Laura Wright, Eric Wright, and Sam Wright, and fifteen great grandchildren.
