Born in Oconee, SC, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Winchester and Lois Blackwell Payne. Linda was retired from Torrington where she worked as a machine operator. Linda was a faithful servant who trusted in the Lord, who enjoyed crossword puzzles and camping.
In addition to her husband Randall Lowery of 60 years, Linda is survived by her son, Roddie Lowery (Kay) of Walhalla; daughter, Anita Joyce Washington of Atlanta, Ga; brothers, Milton Blackwell, Eugene Payne, Doug Payne, and Ricky Payne; sisters, Diane Lusk, Gaynell Rogers, Cindy Turpin and Teresa Cook; and two grandchildren, Jared Lowery (Tasha) of Mountain Rest, Mikella Lowery of Walhalla; one great grandchild, Savannah Nicole Lowery of Mountain Rest.
In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her infant son, Johnny Ray Lowery; brothers, Dennis Payne, Marvin Payne, David Payne.
