Joann E. Davis, 77, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Edgewood Vista in East Grand Forks, MN.
Joann was born May 30, 1942 in Grafton, ND, the daughter of Clifford & Edith (Woolridge) Mastre. She grew up on a farm between Grafton and Park River, ND and attended school in Mandt and Grafton, ND; graduating in 1960 from Grafton high school.
Joann married John Kowalzcik Jr. at the courthouse in Grafton, ND in 1960. They lived in Ardoch, ND and had two daughters. They divorced in 1972.
Joann married John Davis at the courthouse in Grand Forks, ND in 1975. They lived in Grand Forks and had two daughters.
She worked at J R Simplot for 27 years before retiring in 2014. Joann and her husband also had a truck farm for many years south of Grand Forks where they sold vegetables and would donate produce to different organizations/charities.
Joann is survived by her four daughters, two step-sons, three step-daughters, nine grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a step-great grandchild, a sister, and a brother.
Joann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; and one grandson.
Interment: Calvary South Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
