Son of Louis & Phillipena (Roemer) Stadtmuller. His father was a dealer in minerals. Siblings Henry A., Louisa W.. Helen Goetz is probably Helen Goetz, wife of Carl H. Conrads.

- Obituary: born August 12, 1861 on the Vine Hill Farm. When he was about 5 years old he moved to New Haven and attended Yale, where his father was museum curator. After leaving Yale, he returned to Vine Hill Farm, and became general manager in 1885 to the time of his death. He was widely known as an expert of dairy and general agricultural subjects. For several years he was president of the CT State Dairymen Association. He was a selectman of West Hartford CT for many years, and a member of the Hartford CHamber of commerce, the US Public Health Assoc. and the CT Assoc of Town Health officers. He was a public health office of West Hartford CT for 14 years. Between 1890 and 1900 he was the originator of the certified milk business in Connecticut. At his death he leaves his wife, Mrs. Kate E. Stadtmueller; one son, F. Granville Stadtmueller, assistant manager of Vine Hill Farm; two brothers, Henry R. Stadtmueller of Bridgeport and Louis W. Stadtmuller of Meriden, and a sister Mrs. Carl Conrads of West Hartford CT.
