Daughter of the late Anna Marie Mincer and Ralph James Townsend. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe H. Monk; sister, Elizabeth Brinner; and brothers, Harold Townsend and Jimmy Townsend. Survivors include her children, Jody Monk and wife, Wanda of Dandridge, TN, Anna Marie Bowls and husband, John of Valdosta, GA, Carolyn Wisenbaker and husband Cary of St. Augustine, FL, Ralph Monk of Valdosta, GA; grandchildren, JD and Gabby; great grandchildren: Lissa and Laraina.
