CROSWELL -- George A. Pemberton, age 64, of Croswell, passed away on July 26, 2018, unexpectedly.

He was born on January 7, 1954, in Port Huron, to the late John Pemberton and Violet and Clifford Drouillard.

George graduated in 1972 from Port Huron Northern High School. He then enlisted in the United States Army where he served honorably. He was a hardworking and very kind and giving man. He loved horses, horseshoes, fishing, bowling, hockey, and all sports.

He is survived by his children, Andy (Renae) Pemberton, Ann Pemberton and Aimee (Jason) Favell, grandchildren, Lilly Pemberton, Kaden and Kelci Lee and Lexi Rae, former spouse, Mary (Rock) Campbell, siblings, Steve (Julie) Pemberton, Brian (Debbie) Pemberton, Mark (Jennifer) Pemberton, Debbie (James) Chamberlain, Pam (Mike) Trahan, Gloria Drouillard, Joy (Kevin) Hill, Rose (Paul) Stevens and Clifford Drouillard, mother-in-law, Rosemary Schott, significant other, Carol and many loved ones.

George was preceded in death by his brother, John Pemberton, sister, Vicky Drouillard and father-in-law, John Schott.

Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2018, in the Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Avenue, Port Huron. Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery following services.

Visiting hours will be Friday, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Funeral Home.
