Norma A. (Marchionna) Sanders age 87 of North Royalton, OH., entered into rest, Easter Sunday April 12, 2020 at home. She was born on January 20, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Norma is now reunited with her husband, Jim, whom she has missed since his passing in 2014, and her parents. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother and a friend to many. The minute you entered her home, you felt welcome. She loved her family and was happiest when surrounded by her loved ones. She made countless gatherings and holidays special for us all to cherish and remember.
Survivors include her children: Jim (Marcia) Sanders, Mary Elizabeth (Jim) Thoburn and Brian (Jennifer) Sanders, her legacy lives on in her grandchildren: Christopher (Olivia), Patrick, and Matthew Sanders; Caitlin (Shawn) Yates; Katie and Colleen Thoburn; and Emma and Kayla Sanders.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years: James “Jim” Sanders and parents, William and Emma Marchionna.
With the current COVID-19 public gathering restrictions, a private family graveside service will be held at Woodvale Cemetery, Middleburg Heights, OH. There will be a Memorial Mass and Celebration of Norma’s life at St. Colette’s Catholic Church, when the restrictions are lifted. www.brunners.com
