Susan Darlene Sims, age 62, of Cottondale, AL, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. A private graveside service and burial will be held at Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Herbert Thomas will be officiating.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert Sterling and Mary Lanette Hall Sims; grandparents, Lando A. and Mary Edna Watkins Hall and Charlie and Margaret Velma Hughes Sims.
Susan is survived by her sisters, Dale Hodo, of Cottondale, AL, Cathy Currier (Mark), of Dawsonville, GA, and Patti Evans (Scott), of Marietta, GA; brother, Steven Sims, Cottondale, AL.
