Kenton Louis Affolder, 64, of Bellevue passed away November 23, 2010 at home.

He was born August 9, 1946, the son of Louis and Anne (Hale) Affolder in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Kenton graduated from Coldwater High School, attended Ferris State University, Kellogg Community College and received a Bachelor's degree in business from Western Michigan University in 1973. Kenton served in the U. S. Army in Germany.

He worked for 17 years for the Social Security Administration and was then self-employed in the sales and fabrication business, owning Affolder & Associates, Inc. and Affolder Fabricating, Inc.

He married Karen Kader on April 3, 2006. She survives.

Also surviving are his daughter, Sara Affolder (Brian Brandon) of Bellevue; grandchildren, Joshua Brandon, Damon Brandon and Sierra Brandon, all of Bellevue; and his father, Louis Affolder.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Anne Affolder in 2007. Kenton was a member of the V.F. W., the American Legion and the Eagles.

He enjoyed restoring British cars, hunting, fishing, camping, farming and spending time with his family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2010 at Shaw Funeral Home, Lehman Chapel, Bellevue where funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation. The family is being served by Shaw Funeral Home, Lehman Chapel, Bellevue.
