Tony Marvin Williams passed on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020.

He was the third child born to Ruby Evelyn Howard Williams and Marvin Dibble Williams on October 14, 1949. Reared in Dallas, TX.

He graduated from South Oak Cliff High School where he lettered in Football, Basketball, and Baseball.

After graduation, joined the United States Army and rose to E7 rank serving his country during the Vietnam War.

He met his wife of plus 43 years, Avarita, where both attended North Texas State University, he pursued an Engineering degree.

They were blessed with two children, Nicholas and Tiffany.

Tony also has two Associate Degrees in Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) and Computer Information Technology.

His plus 30-year career advanced from being an Architectural Draftsman where he helped design One Main Place Dallas to CAD Designer contributing to the Smart Bombs used in the Gulf War to CAD Engineer assisting in the design of the 733 MHz Intel Pentium III for the first Microsoft Xbox gaming console. He garnered corporate recognition awards at major corporations including Texas Instruments, Alcatel, and Intel. He was one of the first lab instructors to teach Auto CAD at Eastfield College in Dallas, Texas. Tony grew up in the Baptist church but joined his wife and children by converting to the Catholic faith.

Preceding him in death were his dad, Marvin Williams, and two older siblings, Howard Williams, Sr. and Diana Williams Walker His survivors include his wife, Avarita Spates Williams; son, Nicholas Antoine Williams; daughter Tiffany Marie-Gertrude Williams, mother, Ruby Harris; brother, Kenneth Ray Williams; brother-in-law, Cado Dwight Spates, Sr.; 4 grandchildren, Micah Juwan Williams, Jeremiah Xavier Williams, Antoine Nicholas Williams and Evangeline Marie "Eva" Elliott; nephews, Greg Williams, Howard Williams, Jr., Byron Williams, Iran Williams, Aaron Williams, Cado Dwight Spates, Jr., Camille Walker, and Carl Walker, Jr.; and many extended nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

We remain committed to helping families honor the lives of their loved ones through thoughtful and meaningful services while respecting the unique challenges brought on by the Coronavirus.

In accordance with the Guidelines from The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), all services and gatherings must comply with the state and local guidelines restricting the number of people to 10 that can gather at one time in one place.
